Using the right social media apps can help you save a lot of time and effort. Combining them with other tools, it may lighten your job a lot, help you create great content, and connect with your followers.
There are the most essential social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. I am sure you already use those and know how to manage them, so I will skip it. We will concentrate on other apps, more or less known, which will help you with marketing.
Planoly is a visual planner for Instagram and Pinterest, although it can support Facebook and Twitter too. It helps you preview how your posts will look in your feed, manage them, and check metrics.
It is an official Instagram and Pinterest partner app, which allows you to draft, plan, schedule, and publish your posts. A “sellit” feature is envisioned as a tool that helps you transform your content into a store easily.
Planoly is available as a web and mobile app which counts over 4 million users. You can use it for free for one Instagram and one Pinterest account, and with limited features. And there are three other pricing options you can check here.
Facebook Pages Manager
FB Pages Manager is one of the essential social media apps you need to use. Especially if you administrate more than one page.
If you are a marketer and managing FB accounts might be a part of your job, you know you have to be available almost 24/7. So, your smartphone is your best friend. And sometimes things you need to do are not easy on your phone. I have to say that this app is surprisingly great built.
It is available for iOS and Android, and so far it’s absolutely free. You can manage up to 50 Facebook pages. There are still some issues Facebook needs to fix (like constant appearing of notifications), but altogether it is a great help.
Canva is one of the social media apps I use every day, for my business and my personal requirements both. Unfortunately, the desktop app is not available anymore (it used to be), but their website is fast and efficient. So as the mobile app.
It is a design app made for photo editing and graphic creation. Canva is cloud-based and extremely easy to handle. There are pre-made templates you can use, or just make designs from scratch.
Drag-and-drop feature, layouts, tons of free photos and graphics, filters, icons, fonts, and much more, are enough reasons to start using Canva. And there is a free option, which is somehow limited, but you can try PRO for free one month. You can check the prices here.
Keyhole is a monitoring tool in which you can enter keywords, hashtags, and URLs to track how they perform in real-time over different social media networks. Because it allows you to create reports, it is a great tool for marketers.
The app is custom-built for agencies, non-profit, and media, and it is used by 5000 organizations and marketers. It comes in desktop and mobile versions.
Except for tracking and measuring, Keyhole also provides tools for influencer marketing. It can help you understand how much is each of them affecting your campaigns and goals.
Keyhole comes with a price, and you can check it here.
As you can see in the picture, Hemingway is a writing editor. It will help you with the most common writing mistakes, such as using jargon, too long sentences, the use of passive voice, etc.
It doesn’t matter if you are writing 80 characters tweets or 2000 words blogs, because it needs to be correct.
Hemingway comes as a desktop app, and it is free.
Unfortunately, available only for iOS, Captiona is a fabulous app. It generates new captions for Instagram and Snapchat by taking keywords related to your photo.
Marketers post a lot. So, it is sometimes difficult to write something authentic. It is also time-saving. Researching hashtags and keywords can sometimes be a huge work.
We are posting content on our personal accounts average 5 times per week. And for marketers, that number increases largely. Anything that can help your social media managing easier is welcomed. So, I am hoping these social media apps helped you, or at least gave you an idea of how to improve. And, what is more important – save your time. They say that there is an app for everything nowadays. If you know any good social media apps, let us know.
